Gosh, you aren't kidding about the interesting skies! That's amazing!! Here there is nothing but clear blue and hot weather and it's sort of boring that way but you have such beauty in your skies! Very nice photos!!
That weather looks beautiful to me! We've not had rain for over a month and the forests are terribly dry. We're keeping watch on the National Weather Service fire weather forecasts just wishing we will get some rain!
Montucky, We'd gladly send you some rain,.. the farmers here in the northeast are having a lot of difficulty getting their hay in, it's rained several days a week for almost two months. We are very thankful that the woods aren't dry here,...

City Mouse,... that's just east of Lake Placid, where you turn to go to Adirondack Loj. And,.... it ended up turning back to rain ... again!
