A good omen......
Finally after what felt like 40 days and 40 nights of rain,... Friday evening there was sun and a rainbow... the whole campground breathed a sigh of relief!
Thank you Michele, there was a faint double rainbow above the one in the picture, but it was so faint it didn't show up in the photo. We'd had two days of hard rain, it was such a welcome thing to see!
Cedar - you asked me about the camera I use (NatureGirl at Adknaturalist). We have a Nikon D40 here at work. It's one of the cheaper SLR digitals that Nikon makes. I, too, am pretty impressed with the quality, since a photographer friend told me that he wouldn't recommend anything below a D60, and said that the D80 was THE model to get. Hope this helps! Cheers!

I think I actually managed to work on my tan yesterday! But alas, it is now back to rain.
