Snowy Sunday,...Again!...

The Weather Channel forecast a snowstorm for the mid-Atlantic region and perhaps as far north as Albany, NY. Hmmmmm....what is this out here this morning? I live approximately two hours north of Albany and I woke to falling snow this morning.

The gang had emptied my birdfeeder. After taking this picture of my little beggers I hurried in to get the sunflower seed chips. They are much happier now, I'm sure.

Still snowing and it's at 5.5 inches.

An hour later,... bright blue sky and sunshine.

It will be a beautiful day!

Snowy Sunday at Chris and Lauries can be seen here. Miss Jean's Snowy Sunday is here.
I have located some old photos that I will be sharing here soon. My blog friends who have log cabins will find these especially interesting. I might even have them ready as early as tomorrow. Stay tuned!...

Looks like you had a nice big snow! We had a bit down here, but only maybe an inch. Say hello to your winged friends for me!

Oh Cedar---How beautiful. You are probably tired of the snow up there, but we haven't had a drop down here. SO--I have to enjoy your pictures just to know what it looks like!!!!

You live in a beautiful area of the county. I've never been there but would love to go someday. GORGEOUS!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
P.S. Keep feeding those birdies!!!
P.P.S. As much as we love the Weather Channel--they sure are wrong ALOT aren't they???? ha

Beautiful! I envy all of the snow you've been getting. We've had warm temps and rain, although the higher elevations have been getting lots of snow. A pass not far from here had 37 inches in one day last week.

Wonderful pictures. Thank you for joining us this week.

Well that is ironic because I live right where all the snow was SUPPOSED to fall, and you beat us out! We only got maybe 4 inches, tops. It's amazing with all the technology we've developed - sending people to space, splitting atoms, etc., they still can't predict the weather, can they? :-P

It's very pretty!
For the first time today, it's actually sunny and it is a little warmer and I LOVE it!!
I know it's only for a short time but I am so tired of frigid temperatures so I'm going to enjoy these warmer temps...
Have a wonderful day!!

Beautiful photos. I wonder if you are going to have the extreme cold this week. I know the birds must be thankful for their feeder.
Thanks for sharing such a magical place with us.
