My phone rang at 5:30 this morning. It was the automated message to all faculty, staff and students at our school telling us that we have a .... snow day! Here in the northeast we are getting a mixed bag over the next 24 hours. It started during the night and has gone back and forth between sleet and snow. So far only about 3-4 inches, but 6-12 inches are forecast. Can you see the snowplow on the road down in the valley below my hill?
No pretty view of the mountains today!
This chickadee is enjoying a breakfast at the suet feeder.

You do have the most beautiful and dreamy backyard!! Since you have a snow day (if I lived by you) - I would ask to go snow shoeing over by your house!
WOW!!! So beautiful!
It's 60 degrees here today. I'd rather be at your place! LOL
Come on over for snowshoeing! we'll have something warm to drink afterward, do you like cocoa, or cappachino? :)
I especially love the last photo. What a great view you have! We are getting snow today, but just flurries. =o( It isn't sticking.
Cedar---Gorgeous pictures. I'm so jealous.. Your backyard is just gorgeous. You need to frame that last picture. Glad you have a 'snow day' today!!!! I'm sure you will find something to do!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Lucky birds live in your neighborhood! Enjoy the snow day....

That is a super cute feeder! Looks like a little chalet. (And your land and view are pretty easy on the eyes too!!)
I love these wintery shots.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos! Hope you're enjoying your snow days!

Wonderful pictures. Some day we will see the Adirondacks in the winter.
We had a snow day here yesturday also.We had freezing rain it wasn't nice to drive in thank goodness Chris takes me to work.
We had a snow day here too, but we got a lot of freezing rain and ice, not very much snow. Our driveway was a sheet of ice this morning. That's really cool you get a phone call to tell you school is canceled! Here we have to listen to the radio, go online, or call the school's special number ourselves. Your photos are beautiful, loved them!
It all looks even more beautiful in the snow. Hope you had a great snow day.
The great thing about living in the North Country is you get a lot of snow days!
What wonderful snow pictures! We'd love to have snow in our area like that! My husband is from up that way - Scotia, NY, and his Dad lived in Edinburg, NY, along a lake. That is sure some beautiful territory! I love your birds!
How I loved those snow days! Beautiful pics
