It's Here, (part 2) ...

This past Thursday, November 20th I posted about the snow arriving,...it was on the mountain tops in my view to the west. Yesterday morning I woke to snow here in my yard. Not much snow, but definitely snow! As I left for work around 7 a.m. when it wasn't totally daylight yet the pictures show the story,...

My driveway from the house out through the woods to the road,...
My back yard where my little camper is folded down and waiting for spring under a big, blue tarp.

A little tree beside my driveway,...
A pile of campfire wood,...

And this morning, the sun is out, and it's melting out on the deck,...

A lovely day dawns across the valley,...

Great winter photos.

I'm really surprised we have more snow in western New York then you have in the mountains. We got 6-8 inches last night on top of what we already had.

Oh, your property is just gorgeous! It reminds me of our good friends' gorgeous yard across the street from us. I have to get some more trees planted this next spring.

CM,... yes, I really like being off the road in the woods. Gives peace and privacy.

L&C,...I'm not actually in the heart of the High Peaks, they do have more snow in the Lake Placid/Saranac Lake area. I'm east of there and my view looks west to the mountains. Are you getting that "lake effect" snow?

Beautiful! The first photo is especially lovely! I'm getting anxious for snow too, but so far nothing here.

Beautiful photos.

I'm a little jealous that we have yet to receive such snow! We're down in Massachusettts, nestled in the northwestern corner between NY and VT. With all of this cold weather we're getting, I was sure we'd be blanketed with snow by now. I was hoping for a white Thanksgiving :)

Thanks for sharing your photos. At least I can see what is bound to arrive for us at some point.

Happy Holidays!
