Hanging Around,...

Almost all the leaves have fallen from the trees, with a few exceptions,...

They just hate to give up, I guess!

Beautiful... some leaves are like that!
Very stubborn and will hold on through the winter. Looks pretty and makes for some pretty winter photography! =)

Beautiful pics... I have some too that are just hanging on... they are pretty shimmering in the breeze today.

Very pretty leaves! Ours are doing about the same thing. Seems like the smaller type leaves have already fallen, but the larger ones are just really beginning to fall here. The Larch needles are beginning to cover the ground now and that's something I just love.

The photos on your blog are great. We love the Adirondacks and try to visit there as much as possible. Your photos are a great source of enjoyment until our next visit. Please keep on posting them.

Michele,... yes, I'm looking forward to seeing the last of the leaves in the snow.

Montucky,.... is larch the same as tamarack? We have trees here that look like those but we call them tamarack.

Jamie,... thanks so much for your kind words! I'm glad my blog brings you back to the Adirondacks even if it's over the internet. Do come back again in real life as soon as possible!

adkkeb,... I like your word "shimmering"... great description!
