Day before yesterday Libby Murphy of Twirl and Taste posted about an issue that has always brought me sadness. So today my "view" will look beyond the mountains, lakes and people of the north country and focus on that issue.David Keith, an actor (Law and Order, An Officer and A Gentleman) and good friend of Libby's has taken up a cause.... PROTECT , The National Association to Protect Children. Unfortunately children are exploited every day. When we turn on the news we hear of the tragedies, but we seldom think about the fact that so many children are used for financial gain through the porn industry. That is a tough subject for me to write about as it gives me a physical reaction in the pit of my stomach to even think of it.

What an admirable cause! We need to protect our little ones....
We must do anything we can to help protect those who cannot protect themselves!
I'm with you, friend. I have recently helped some children who desperately needed someone to come along side. My heart was broken to see their pain.
The exploitation and abuse of children should NEVER be tolerated.
I worked in a child abuse clinic for five years....it is indeed a noble and wonderful cause to join.

I owned a daycare and preschool for twenty years and there is nothing more precious than a child. Childhood neglect and abuse should never be tolerated, ever!
I really also think this is a wonderful cause and after all that I had gone through as a little child, I am more in tune with causes like this and extremely supportive! Our children really do need to be protected...
