At the Peak?...

On the way to Blue Mountain Lake a few days ago the weather was mostly dreary. But a few times, and just at the right time, the sun peaked through. These scenes are taken on the "Blue Ridge" road between North Hudson and Newcomb, NY. I think the fall foliage colors are at peak in that area.

I'd say that's peak leaf color alright! The color in those trees is just gorgeous! I'm not terribly familiar with where we're talking about, but it's just beautiful. Enjoy!! The cold is coming!!

Oh my... it's beautiful, isn't it? It's exactly why I wander out into the forests and take my walks each week... I cannot resist nature... it's breathtaking.
Beautiful photos!

Thank you Michele, Montucky and CM,... CM, that's the road that runs westward from I-87 exit 29. Worth a drive sometime, as you can make a big loop,... to Newcomb, Long Lake and then back north to Tupper Lake and back east to Saranac Lake.
