Another Season!...

The bluegrass festival season has started! Thursday I traveled about 4.5 hours west to Stone Mills, NY... or as the festival is called,... LaFargeville. It is sponsored by the 1000 Islands Bluegrass Preservation Society, of which I'm a member.

This is a group practicing at their camper prior to their performance on the stage.

Here's my rig, and a friend relaxing with a soft drink after wandering around visiting with other friends and enjoying the "field picking"... Life is good!

Another 24 hours and it will be homeward bound...

You know, one of these days I'm joining you. And I'm bringing my guitar. This is my life and my history and I miss it more than I can SAY. Truly, I would love to travel there. I have a singing engagement this afternoon and I'm so jazzed to get to do something in downhome three parts harmonies!

I like all kinds of music but bluegrass is among my favorites. I'm SO GLAD you're there and having a ball!!!!! BIG HUGS to you. :)

I have never been to a Bluegrass festival, but have always wanted to go. Sigh. It looks like so much fun and friendship!

Hi Cedar, Just checking on you since I haven't heard from you in a long time. I know how much you are enjoying that new 'rig' this summer.... I'm sure that the Bluegrass Festival was wonderful.

I have had a rough time for about a month. I finally had Arthroscopic Knee Surgery last Thursday...
Hugs,
Betsy
