Snow Day On The Hill,...

We are enjoying a "snow day" on the hill. The usual view is overcast, and now a few minutes after this picture was taken it's snowing hard again. Snow depth so far is 10.5 inches.

Looking down into the woods from the front deck...

The back yard and driveway,...

My new camper just waiting for spring,...

How to spend a "snow day?" Mitzi knows,... take a nap!

Or like Kiki, hang out by the window and watch the snow...
The plan for the afternoon is to bake some bread, and plan a nice dinner. I love a snow day!

I'm with ya, Cedar. Your snow is beautiful. I love it too. It's a great reason to slow down and enjoy the warmth of a fire and baking bread.

Cedar, that is a lot of snow! We keep waiting for more snow, as we have had very little this year. But our winter might be sliding away from us. only time will tell. Thank you for your wonderful photos.

How beautiful that is, Cedar! I wish we had that snow here!

Your camper looks like it's ready for spring: I bet you're champing at the bit to take it out.

No snow so far for us only rain and sleet. Baking bread sounds like a great idea. Thanks Cedar for the beautiful photos!

Sounds good to me. Besides I think I once would have had the same feeling about "snow days" if I'm reading between the lines correctly!

Beautiful pictures. Good day for baking bread, making soup and sitting by the fire with a nice big cup of hot chocolate.

Homemade bread and comfort foods can really help on snow days. Nice photographs.

You know I keep threatening to come your way and hear all that great music y'all travel around listening to. Now you add snow, naps, and baked bread. You DO know you're killin' me don't you? Please get my room ready!

P.S. THANKS for stopping by and your sweet note! :)

We have the same system hitting us but not sure if it will be snow or rain. It's bound to be abit messy whichever form. I like your plans for a snow day - home-made bread! Yummy and makes the house smell so nice.

Happy weekend!

Oh, send the snow--I am not ready for spring, yet here it is.

Thank you so much for your sweet comforting words. I am just bereft, and cannot seem to stop crying.

I know she's just a little kitty--but she was family, too.

Wasn't the wet snow on the trees awesome this week?! So pretty! Most of ours is gone now. Spring is on the wing! Buck Pond is calling your name! =)
